Early Stage Venture Capital Alliance (ESVCA)

ESVCA is a community of more than 150 early
stage venture capitalists who gather together
to share common challenges, practices and
information on their ever-evolving business
environment. Founded over 10 years ago,
ESVCA has been unique from its inception.
While the venture community had plenty of
CEO Forums and conferences, none existed
for early stage venture capitalists. The
original idea of ESVCA was to create an
exclusive atmosphere where managing partners
of early stage VC's could exchange candid
observations and information on the most
sensitive topics facing the industry. |

Eastern Rural Telecom Association (ERTA)

ERTA will provide expertise to the member
companies through dissemination of pertinent
Technological information as well as seminars
and special activities as required, in all
matters concerning loans, special project
requirements, and financing in general.
ERTA develops engineering courses and arranges
for them to be presented to company representatives.
Also, if requested, ERTA coordinates the
Association's education activities with
other educational programs and institutions. |
Eastern Technology Council

The Eastern Technology Council helps its
member companies make contact with each
other. Through participation in Council
events, their members have the opportunity

EDA Consortium

The EDA Consortium represents 100 companies
in the $4 billion Electronic Design Automation
(EDA) industry. Unlike other high tech industry
categories, the EDA industry has been extremely
stable, and only experienced one year of
minor decline (4% in 2002), which was the
first in its 18-year history. In addition,
their last industry tracking reports show
that EDA industry revenue was up 3% for
2003. EDA employs over 20,000 people and
more than 500,000 people use its tools and
services. |

Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce is a modern
member-led organization with around 1,500
current members, and 55 staff operating
in several locations in and around Edinburgh.
Their aim is to provide the best professional
advice and support in Edinburgh and the
Lothians to businesses at all stages of
development from start up to maturity. The
Chamber runs various Government training
programs including Modern Apprenticeships
built around Vocational Qualifications (VQs)

(ERA)

The Electronics Representatives Association
is the trade organization for professional
field sales companies in the electronics
industries. ERA is devoted to promoting,
protecting and improving the professional
field sales function. ERA member firms (often
called manufacturers' reps or reps) provide
outsourced field sales on an exclusive basis
to manufacturers of related (but non-competing)
products in a defined territory. |
