National Press Club (NPC)
Offices: Washington, DC
The National Press Club has been a part
of Washington life for more than 90 years.
Its members have included 17 consecutive
Presidents of the United States—from Theodore
Roosevelt to Bill Clinton. Most have spoken
from The Club's podium, some to declare
their candidacies for the highest office
in the land. On March 12, 1908, 32 newspapermen
with $300 met in the Gridiron Room of the
Willard Hotel (across 14th street from the
current location of the National Press Building)
and framed a constitution for the National
Press Club. |
National Public Radio (NPR)
Offices: Washington, DC
NPR is an internationally acclaimed producer
and distributor of noncommercial news, talk,
and entertainment programming. A privately
supported, not-for-profit membership organization,
NPR serves a growing audience of 26 million
Americans each week in partnership with
more than 780 independently operated, noncommercial
public radio stations. Each NPR Member Station
serves local listeners with a distinctive
combination of national and local programming.

National Retail Federation (NRF)
Offices: Dayton, Ohio
NRE is the world's largest retail trade
association with membership that comprises
all retail formats and channels of distribution
including department, specialty, discount,
catalog, Internet, independent stores as
well as the industry’s key trading partners
of retail goods and services. In its role
as the retail industry's umbrella group,
NRF also represents 32 national and 50 state
associations in the US as well as 36 international
associations representing retailers abroad. |
National Retail Hardware Association (NRHA)
Offices: Indianapolis, Indiana
The National Retail Hardware Association's
mission is to: provide the services and
information retailers need to be better
and more profitable merchants, provide services
and programs that retailers cannot provide
for themselves, represent retailers' interests
at all levels of government, and to provide
an unbiased and reliable source of industry
information. Their purpose is to help independent
home improvement retailers become better
and more profitable merchants. |
National Telecommunications Cooperative
Association (NTCA)
Offices: Arlington, Virginia
NTCA, "the voice of rural telecommunications,"
is a non-profit association representing
more than 550 small and rural telephone
cooperatives and commercial companies. NTCA
in 2003 has 557 member telcos: 255 cooperatives
and 302 locally owned and controlled commercial
companies. In addition, the association
has 396 associate member suppliers, equipment
manufacturers, and other companies providing
financial, legal, engineering, accounting,
billing, and other essential services to
rural telephone systems, 110 subsidiary
members, and 9 international members. |

National Venture Capital Association (NVCA)
Offices: Arlington, Virginia
NVCA was created in the fall of 1926 by
the merger of the Electric Power Club and
the Associated Manufacturers of Electrical
Supplies. It provides a forum for the standardization
of electrical equipment, enabling consumers
to select from a range of safe, effective,
and compatible electrical products. |
Near Field Communications Forum (NFC Forum)
Offices: Wakefield, Massachusetts
The Near Field Communication (NFC) Forum
is a non-profit industry association formed
to advance the use of NFC short-range wireless
interaction in consumer electronics, mobile
devices and PCs. The NFC Forum will promote
implementation and standardization of NFC
technology to ensure interoperability between
devices and services. The vision of the
NFC Forum is to enable users to access content
and services in an intuitive way by simply
touching smart objects and connecting devices
just by holding them next to each other. |
Nebraska Retail Federation (NRF)
Offices: Lincoln, Nebraska
The Nebraska Retail Federation's primary
mission is to represent member interests
to state and federal government officials.
The Nebraska Retail Federation ensures a
retail voice for Nebraska that is united
and strong. The NRF protects retailers'
interests at the state level. Member participation
in the Nebraska Retail Federation assures
that member's interests are being represented.
The Nebraska Retail Federation does not
favor one type or size of merchant over
another. |
Nevada Telecommunications Association (NTA)
Offices: Reno, California
The Nevada Telecommunications Association
will support its member organizations through
regulatory, legislative and public relations
advocacy. The Association will enhance the
communications business environment, advance
the business interests and promote the reputation
of its member organizations. The NTA will
foster cooperation, mutual respect and unity
among its members in pursuit of the Associations
goals and objectives. |

New Jersey Chamber of Commerce
Offices: Trenton, New Jersey
The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce promotes
a vibrant business environment and economic
prosperity through vision, expertise and
innovative solutions. The New Jersey Chamber
of Commerce is a business advocacy organization
which links the state’s local and regional
chambers on issues of importance through
its grassroots legislative network. Their
membership is broad-based, ranging from
family-owned mom and pop shops to Fortune
500 companies. |
New Jersey Retail Merchants Association
(NJRMA)
Offices: Trenton, New Jersey
The New Jersey Retail Merchants Association
was founded in 1967 by a group of retailers
who were extremely concerned with the thousands
of bills and regulations developed by the
Legislature and state agencies every year
that directly impacted their business operations.
Members include the largest national chains
as well as medium and small retail establishments.
No retail store is too big or too small
to join NJRMA. |
New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC)
Offices: Mt Laurel, New Jersey
The New Jersey Technology Council provides
business support, networking opportunities,
information, advocacy and recognition of
technology companies and their leaders.
Founded in 1996, NJTC's more than 1,200
member companies work together to support
their own enterprises while advancing New
Jersey's status as a leading technology
center in the United States. |
New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors
Bureau (NOMCVB)
Offices: New Orleans, Louisiana
One of the true icons of the convention
and meetings industry, the Ernest N Morial
Convention Center is regularly chosen as
a key anchor in the rotation of major association
and corporate meetings and has become a
tremendously popular location for mid- and
small-size conventions and meetings as well.
The best reason to meet in New Orleans may
be because it’s, well, New Orleans. Unlike
any other North American city, New Orleans
inspires and intrigues. The birthplace of
