The Valley Forge Convention and Visitors
Bureau, established by the Montgomery County
Commissioners, is a membership sales and
marketing organization which aggressively
promotes the Valley Forge area and Montgomery
County as a convention site and leisure
visitor destination by promoting patronage
of its member hotels, restaurants, attractions
and services. The Bureau represents more
than 450 member businesses in Southeast
Pennsylvania. |
Vancouver Enterprise Forum (VEF)
Offices: Vancouver, British Columbia
In essence, the VEF's members are its stakeholders.
A typical member is a technology entrepreneur
or anyone interested in supporting the advancement
of the technology industry in some way.
The Vancouver Enterprise Forum holds monthly
events at Science World on the fourth Tuesday
of every month. Events vary in presentation
format but are designed to cover topics
of interest to the technology community.
As an example, the annual "Venture Financing"
forum covers fund-raising for technology
firms and is nearly always sold-out due
to its popularity. |
VC Task Force

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce represents
1,600 businesses, a collective voice that
can be heard from Newport to Bennington,

dale. The Vermont Chamber actively lobbies
for the business community at the Statehouse
in Montpelier, gives away more than 500,000
publications and guides to educate and attract
visitors and tourists, publishes a quarterly
newsletter to keep members informed, serves
as a conduit between businesses and the
media, maintains an international trade
program including a full-time office in
Taiwan. |
Vermont Retail Association (VRA)

The Vermont Retail Association was founded
to promote and protect the interests of
retailers throughout the state and to provide
money saving services to its members. Membership
is statewide and includes a broad range
of retailers and other businesses. The VRA
represents the retail industry before elected
officials for policy and voting decisions.
The Retail Review is published ten
times a year and includes information about
retail trends, statistics, current and proposed
laws with which businesses need to comply,
member profiles, and information about endorsed
services. |
Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA)
Offices: Encino, California
VSDA is committed to being the preeminent
source of industry advocacy, policy setting
and research. VSDA pursues leadership and
expertise in packaged home entertainment
while securing for its members opportunities
to deliver quality entertainment to consumers
through new delivery systems, including
digital delivery. VSDA seeks out, evaluate,
and promote new technologies to help its

Viral & Buzz Marketing Association (VBMA)

The Viral & Buzz Marketing Association is
an international group for the development,

Ten regional technology councils formed
the Virginia Technology Alliance in 1998.
The VTA mission is straight forward: champion
