Suburban Chamber of Commerce is an independent
organization that represents the business
community in the Waltham area and West Suburban
region. There are nearly 700 business members
who invest in the organization with their

Washington Independent Telephone Association
(WITA)

The Washington Independent Telephone Association
was founded in 1915. The purpose of the
trade organization is to pursue statewide
strategies that encourage the deployment
of technologies that will enable WITA members

products and services. As members of WITA,
their mission is to support, unify, and

high quality service in response to the

Washington Retail Association (WRA)

The Washington Retail Association is formed
to advocate for Washington state's retailers
at the local, state and national level.
Since 1987, the WRA has: reduced Unemployment
Insurance rates, defeated attempts to burden
retailers with complex sales tax reporting
requirements, championed the Streamlined
Sales Tax Project, protected retailers from
“take back” electronic product recycling,
and advocated for reform to Workers’ Compensation
laws. |
Wayne Brown Institute (WBI)

Formed in 1983, the Wayne Brown Institute
(WBI) runs the oldest and most successful
non-profit venture accelerator program in
the country. Most importantly, WBI's accelerator
program helps technical entrepreneurs, from
every social economic level, raise money
for their businesses. WBI's network of experienced
and knowledgeable mentors has assisted over
580 promising high-tech companies. These
alumni companies have raised a combined
$1.7 billion in private equity since participating
