National Black Business Council (NBBC)

The NBBC is an organization dedicated to
the creation and advancement of black businesses.
The Council accomplishes this mission through
a national alliance of African-American
companies and economic development organizations.
Representing this increasingly powerful
community of entrepreneurs, NBBC representatives
work closely with Capitol Hill Legislators
and policy makers on issues of concern to
black businesses. NBBC also advocates the
expansion of black business procurement
in both the private and public sectors. |
National Minority Business Council (NMBC)

The National Minority Business Council has
been helping small, minority- and women-owned
businesses succeed for over a quarter century.
The organization is dedicated to providing
business assistance, educational opportunities,
seminars, purchasing listings and related
services to hundreds of businesses throughout
the tri-state area and across the nation.
The strength of the organization resides
in its members of successful entrepreneurs
who are committed to their business and
to the NMBC's continuing goal of expanding
opportunities available to small, minority

National Minority Supplier Development Council
(NMSDC)
Offices: New York, New York
Providing a
direct link between corporate America and
minority-owned businesses is the primary
objective of the National Minority Supplier
Development Council, one of the country's
leading business membership organizations.
It was chartered in 1972 to provide increased
procurement and business opportunities for
minority businesses of all sizes. The NMSDC
Network is comprised of 3,500 corporate
members, including most of America's largest
publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign-owned
companies. |
Northwest Environmental Business Council
(NEBC)
Offices: Portland, Oregon
The Northwest Environmental Business Council
was established to help identify the leading
professionals in the environmental industry
in the Northwest. The organization is a
resource for environmental procurement needs.
NEBC is a regional trade association representing
environmental technology and service firms
in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and
Alaska since 1996. NEBC is recognized as
the most comprehensive representative of
the Pacific Northwest environmental industry
by state and federal regulators, as well
as the regulated community. |

Ohio Small Business Council (OSBC)

The OSBC is solely devoted to representing
the unique concerns of the small business
members of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
The OSBC’s activities are led by a governing
board comprised of small business owners,
in a wide range of industries, from across
Ohio. OSBC also works to promote and protect
the establishment, growth and vitality of
small business in Ohio by supporting legislative
and governmental actions that encourage
small business development. |
Orange County Business Council (OCBC)

The Orange County Business Council is the
leading voice of business in Orange County,
California. OCBC represents and promotes
the business community, working with government
and academia, to enhance Orange County’s
economic development and prosperity in order
to preserve a high quality of life. OCBC
helps assure the financial growth of America’s

Oregon Business Council (OBC)
Offices: Portland, Oregon
The Oregon Business Council is an association
of more than 40 top business executives
focused on public issues that affect Oregon's
life and future. The business leaders who
belong to OBC serve as directors of the
organization. OBC members represent Oregon's
largest employers, in fact, nearly a third
of the state's 100 largest companies. OBC
has worked on issues as diverse as K-12
and higher education, salmon and watershed
health, a drug-free workplace, transportation,
fiscal reform, and economic development.
