Founded in 1988 by members of the cable television industry, Cable Television Laboratories is a non-profit research and development consortium that is dedicated to pursuing new cable telecommunications technologies and to helping its cable operator members integrate those advancements into their business objectives. Cable operators from around the world are members.
Cable Television Association of Marketing (CTAM)
Offices: Alexandria, Virginia
CTAM is dedicated to the discipline and development of consumer marketing excellence in cable television, new media and telecommunications services. CTAM members have the advantage of progressive research, insightful publications and forward-thinking conferences—all designed to help them and their companies gain a competitive edge.
Cable Television Public Affairs Association (CTPAA)

CTPAA is dedicated to building a strong image for the cable industry and enhancing its competitive advantage, CTPAA is the only national, professional organization specifically addressing the issues, needs, and interests of the cable industry's public affairs professionals. A strong advocate of the public affairs professional's participation in all aspects of corporate decision-making processes, CTPAA works to enhance each member's status and influence through skill building and professional development.
California Cable Television Association (CCTA)
Offices: Sacramento, California
CCTA is the nation's largest state cable association representing nearly 200 cable systems serving more than 6.8 million cable customers in California. In addition to local cable operators, the state industry includes a growing number of "cable-related" industries—such as high-tech firms that manufacture the products and services which support a dynamic cable industry, programmers which create the content for cable networks, and ancillary service providers, which offer specific services to cable industry members.
California Communications Association (CalCom)
Offices: Sacramento, California
California Communications Association is a statewide non-profit trade association comprised of all of the incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) providing telecommunications services within California. In addition to these core members, over 200 providers of products and services to the industry are CalCom associates. CalCom will bring you closer to your market and give you great opportunities to interact with the telephone companies that keep the basic communications infrastructure in California up and running.

CDMA Development Group (CDG)

CDG is an international consortium of companies who have joined together to lead the adoption and evolution of CDMA wireless systems around the world. The CDG is comprised of the world's leading CDMA service providers and manufacturers. By working together, the members will help ensure interoperability among systems, while expediting the availability of CDMA technology to consumers.
Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA)

CTIA is the international organization that represents all elements of wireless communication—cellular, personal communication services enhanced specialized mobile radio, and mobile satellite services—serving the interests of service providers, manufacturers, and others. Founded in 1984, CTIA is the voice of the wireless industry—representing its members in a constant dialogue with policy makers in the Executive Branch, in the Federal Communications Commission, and in Congress, CTIA's industry committees provide leadership in the area of taxation, roaming, safety, regulations, fraud and technology.
Colorado Telecommunications Association (CTA)
Offices: Glendale, Colorado
The Colorado Telecommunications Association was formed in 1963. Today, it has 28 Rural Local Exchange Company members, two Affiliate Company Members and nearly 100 Vendor and Supplier Members. The "Companies Connecting Colorado" provide local exchange and other telecommunications service to customers spread over 50% of the state. A goal of the CTA is to preserve, protect and advance the concept of affordable, universal telecommunications services for all the citizens of the state.
Communications Supply Service Association (CSSA)

CSSA was created as a strategic alliance of independent telephone companies. Today our purpose and commitment remain the same. Their mission has always been to enhance each Members' ability to successfully compete in the communications market. Their goal is to ensure superior service, competitive prices, and the availability of quality products. They provide a dedicated, professional staff, committed to excellence, integrity and continuous Member involvement.
Competitive Telecommunications Association (CompTel)

CompTel is the leading association representing competitive telecommunications companies in virtually every sector of the marketplace: incumbent local exchange carriers, competitive local exchange carriers, long-distance carriers of every size, wireless service providers, Internet service providers, equipment manufacturers, and software suppliers. They are the established, respected voice of the competitive telecommunications industry before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission, state regulators and legislators, industry technical groups and international communications.
