American Chamber of Commerce in France

The American Chamber of Commerce in France
was founded in 1894 making it the oldest
US business organization abroad. The Chamber
is an independent not-for-profit association
registered both in France and in the United
States. AmCham France is the collective
voice of Franco-American business interests
in France. The Chamber's role is to serve
its members in the international business
community. Chamber members are engaged in
trade, industry and professional services,
from small companies to large multinational

The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany
is a membership organization that represents
the interests of its 3,000 American and
German members. Celebrating its 100th Anniversary
in 2003, AmCham Germany is one of the oldest
and largest bilateral economic organizations
in Europe. AmCham Germany's mission is to
promote unrestricted competition, trade
and investment between Germany and the United

The American Chamber of Commerce in Italy
is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce
of Washington DC and is a member of the
European Council of American Chambers of
Commerce, the umbrella agency which promotes
free trade between the European Union and
the United States. AmCham represents the
major Chambers of Commerce and trade and
industrial associations in the United States;
it is a founding member of the Union of
Foreign and Italian-Foreign Chambers of
Commerce in Italy. |

American Chamber of Commerce in Spain
Offices: Barcelona-Madrid, Spain
The American Chamber of Commerce in Spain
represents and defends the interests of
US companies in Spain doing business with
Spain vis-à-vis the Spanish and European
authorities (through ECCAC) through white
papers and direct contact with public officials.
They increase US investments in and exports
to Spain, making Spain the natural destination
for US companies in Europe and the world.
In order to achieve this, AmCham Spain “sells”
Spain in the US and serves as intermediary
between local and US interests. |
