member-led organization with around 1,500
current members, and 55 staff operating
in several locations in and around Edinburgh.
Their aim is to provide the best professional
advice and support in Edinburgh and the
Lothians to businesses at all stages of
development from start up to maturity. The
Chamber runs various Government training
programs including Modern Apprenticeships
built around Vocational Qualifications (VQs)
and employability contracts. |

Evanston Chamber of Commerce

The Evanston Chamber of Commerce was founded
in 1921 and now, in its 84th year, is the
only non-profit business organization in
the region solely supported by private industry.
The chamber provides leadership and services
for its more than 650 member companies who
represent the diverse economy of the Evanston
region. Through the collective efforts of
individual volunteers, The chamber fosters
a competitive business climate conducive
to growth, prosperity and maintaining a
high quality of life. The chamber membership
represents the six sectors of the Evanston
economy: manufacturing, services, retail,
high-tech, health care and educational institutions,
