develops sustainable economic growth of

comprised of destination marketing organizations,
was established to develop cooperative marketing,

Bureau is a organization dedicated to promoting
of the City of Newport and the five townships
of Newport County as a premiere destination
for business and leisure travel. The NCCVB’s
promotional efforts include a year-long
advertising campaign directed at leisure
travel and business travel markets, targeted
sales efforts, public relations strategy,
participation in numerous trade shows, and
a comprehensive website. The NCCVB is available
to aid in planning a meeting or corporate
event, to assist travel professionals including
media, tour operators, and travel agents. |

NYC & Company, the city’s official tourism
marketing organization, is dedicated to
building New York City’s economy through
tourism and convention development, major
events, and the marketing of the city on
a worldwide basis. They provide information
and assistance with all services and facilities
relating to the tourism and convention industries
to meeting planners, tour operators, travel
agents, individual visitors, and the worldwide
news media. They act as a liaison for tourism
and convention industry customers to member
hotels, restaurants, attractions, venues,
and service providers. |
North Carolina Association of Convention
& Visitor Bureaus (NCACVB)
Offices: Raleigh, North Carolina
Founded in 1976 by seven member cities (Asheville,
Charlotte, Greensboro, Hickory, High Point,
Raleigh and Winston-Salem), the North Carolina
Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus
was organized as a network of destination
marketing organizations working cooperatively
to promote North Carolina as a convention
and leisure destination. Travel to North
Carolina and experience their beautiful
beaches, scenic mountains and historic sites.

The Ohio Association of Convention & Visitor
Bureaus is committed to advancing the interests
of professionals dedicated to the promotion
of travel and tourism in their areas. The
travel and tourism industry is a highly
competitive and rapidly changing field.
OACVB offers its members access to the resources

and to sharpen their professional skills.
The OACVB office is fully equipped and has
a conference room that seats 25. Members
are encouraged to use the conference room
for any meetings they need to conduct in
