The Chief Executives' Club of Boston

one of the premier forums for the exchange
of ideas on business and management issues.
The Club works in partnership with Boston
College’s Carroll School of Management to
foster management excellence, leadership
and good corporate citizenship. The Club
sponsors seven luncheons a year at which
some of the world’s leading CEOs offer views
on a wide variety of topics. |
The City Club of Cleveland
Offices: Cleveland, Ohio
Established to encourage new ideas and a
free exchange of thought, The City Club
is the oldest continuous free speech forum
in the country, renowned for its tradition
of debate and discussion. The City Club
firmly believes in the free expression of
all ideas and the benefits of an open exchange.
It is non-partisan and does not take positions
on issues. All speakers must answer unfiltered,
unrehearsed questions directly from the
audience. |
The Conference Board
Offices: New York, New York & Brussels,
Begium
The Conference Board was born out of a crisis
in industry in 1916. Declining public confidence
in business and rising labor unrest had
become severe threats to economic growth
and stability. The Conference Board creates
and disseminates knowledge about management
and the marketplace to help businesses strengthen
their performance and better serve society.
Working as a global, independent membership
organization in the public interest, they
conduct research, convene conferences, make
forecasts, assess trends, publish information
and analysis, and bring executives together
to learn from one another. |
The Houston Forum
Offices: Houston, Texas
The Houston Forum is the community platform
for the nation's fourth largest city. As
a non-profit educational organization, it
is uniquely a Houston product created in
1979 by the business and academic leadership.
Individuals invited to speak from their
platform come from a diverse mix of backgrounds
and experiences. The audiences who come
to hear them are Houstonians interested
in the free exchange of ideas and in living
and working in a community that is open
to their world. |
The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE)
Offices: Santa Clara, California
TiE, a not-for-profit global network of
entrepreneurs and professionals, was founded
in 1992 in Silicon Valley, California, USA.
Although its birth name, The Indus Entrepreneurs,
signifies the ethnic South Asian or Indus
roots of the founders, TiE stands for Talent,
Ideas and Enterprise. It is an open and
inclusive organization that has rapidly
grown to more than forty chapters in nine
countries. TiE endeavors to cultivate and
nurture the ecosystems of entrepreneurship
and free-market economies everywhere, as
it sees this to be the single most powerful
instrument of prosperity. |
Town Hall Los Angeles
Offices: Los Angeles, California
Founded in 1937, Town Hall Los Angeles is
a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization
dedicated to promoting civic participation
by offering members direct access to and
insight from the most influential business
and political leaders. As a live, interactive
forum, Town Hall Los Angeles educates and
inspires its members and guests to engage
in a dialogue on timely issues of national,
international and local significance. |
Turnaround Management Association (TMA)
Offices: Chicago, Illinois
TMA is the only international non-profit
association dedicated to corporate renewal
and turnaround management. With international
headquarters in Chicago, TMA's 6,800 members
in 33 regional chapters comprise a professional
community of turnaround practitioners, attorneys,
accountants, investors, lenders, venture
capitalists, accountants, appraisers, liquidators,
executive recruiters and consultants. Members
adhere to a Code of Ethics specifying high
standards of professionalism, integrity
