Over the past three decades, the Council has played a private sector leadership
role in shaping fiscal, taxation, trade, competition, energy, environmental,

Chester County International Business Council (CCIBC)

The Chester County International Business Council is an economic development
initiative of the Chester County Economic Development Council. The CCIBC
receives guidance and expertise from its volunteer 33-person Advisory Board
and funding from the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia to deliver
export assistance services to small to medium sized companies located in
Chester County. The Council's international trade program was successful
in assisting Chester County companies in generating over $14 million in
export sales for last year. |

The Commonwealth Business Council was established by the Commonwealth Heads
of Government Meeting in October 1997 to involve the private sector in the
promotion of trade and investment. The CBC acts as a bridge for co-operation

barriers to trade, mobilize investment into Commonwealth countries, foster
a good environment for business and investment, promote good practice in
corporate governance and corporate citizenship, and facilitate the engagement
of the private sector in information communication technology. |

The Cumberland County Business Council strives to improve quality of life
by creating wealth, jobs and investment in our community. Fayetteville's
