MACVB enhances the professionalism, effectiveness, and image of its members
and the industry they represent. MACVB, comprised of destination marketing
organizations, was established to develop cooperative marketing, promotion
and educational programs among convention and visitor bureaus in the state
and to provide resources and a support network.

N Morial Convention Center is regularly chosen as a key anchor in the rotation
of major association and corporate meetings and has become a tremendously
popular location for mid- and small-size conventions and meetings as well.

Unlike any other North American city, New Orleans inspires and intrigues.
The birthplace of jazz, home to some of the greatest restaurants (and service)

The Newport County Convention & Visitors Bureau is a organization dedicated
to promoting of the City of Newport and the five townships of Newport County
as a premiere destination for business and leisure travel. The NCCVB’s promotional
efforts include a year-long advertising campaign directed at leisure travel
and business travel markets, targeted sales efforts, public relations strategy,
participation in numerous trade shows, and a comprehensive website. The
NCCVB is available to aid in planning a meeting or corporate event, to assist
travel professionals including media, tour operators, and travel agents.

NYC & Company, the city’s official tourism marketing organization, is dedicated
to building New York City’s economy through tourism and convention development,
major events, and the marketing of the city on a worldwide basis. They provide
information and assistance with all services and facilities relating to
the tourism and convention industries to meeting planners, tour operators,
travel agents, individual visitors, and the worldwide news media. They act
as a liaison for tourism and convention industry customers to member hotels,
restaurants, attractions, venues, and service providers.

Founded in 1976 by seven member cities (Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro,
Hickory, High Point, Raleigh and Winston-Salem), the North Carolina Association
of Convention & Visitor Bureaus was organized as a network of destination
marketing organizations working cooperatively to promote North Carolina
as a convention and leisure destination. Travel to North Carolina and experience
their beautiful beaches, scenic mountains and historic sites. The North
Carolina Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus is a membership organization
of North Carolina destination marketing organizations.-Ohio-
Offices: Columbus, Ohio
The Ohio Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus is committed to advancing
the interests of professionals dedicated to the promotion of travel and
tourism in their areas. The travel and tourism industry is a highly competitive
and rapidly changing field. OACVB offers its members access to the resources
they need to stay abreast of new developments and to sharpen their professional
skills. The OACVB office is fully equipped and has a conference room that
seats 25. Members are encouraged to use the conference room for any meetings
they need to conduct in Columbus.
