Phenomic Game Development was founded in 1997 by Volker Wertich, known by many as the mastermind behind the hugely successful Settlers series, where he played a major role in the development of the first and third parts. Their newest game, SpellForce 2–Shadow Wars, aims to lead the way into a new generation of real time strategy games, presenting the game with a more important RPG aspect. Phenomic focuses on the creation of outstanding computer and video games for an international audience, specializing in strategy, empire building and role playing games for PC, console- and online media.
Pivotal Games

Pivotal Games is a computer game developer formed in March 2000. In September 2002 they released their first title, Conflict: Desert Storm, which has been critically acclaimed by the industry press and reviewers alike. This is part of a multi-product deal with the publisher SCi, which includes two further titles within the Conflict series—Conflict: Desert Storm II and Conflict: Vietnam. They have also developed the successful game The Great Escape, based on the famous movie.
