Prior to becoming a FOX O&O, WBRC-TV was one of the top ABC affiliates in

KTBC has been serving Central Texas longer than any station, since Thanksgiving
Day 1952. The station was owned at the time by Texas Broadcasting Company.
KTBC was the only TV station in Central Texas for seven years, and had the
unique opportunity to choose the best programs from all three networks.
Eventually, KTBC became a CBS affiliate until 1995, when KTBC joined the
growing and innovative FOX network. KTBC's commitment to covering news is
evident in more than 24 hours of "FOX 7 News" shows each week. |

WGHP signed on the air in October 1963 as an ABC Station. In 1990, WGHP
launched its first 5 p.m. newscast. WGHP became the first station to cover
news regionally across the 14 counties that compromise the High Point/Greensboro/Winston-Salem
television market. On September 3, 1995, WGHP switched affiliations with
WXLV, formerly WRNW, and became FOX8 WGHP. Fox 8 WGHP produces seven hours
of local news each weekday, more than any broadcast station in the market
or anywhere in North Carolina. |

WWCP-TV signed on October 13, 1986. Originally WWCP was an independent broadcast

is a full-time affiliate of the Fox Television Network offering the complete
