Originally KABB-TV was an independent station when it first went on the
air in December of 1987. KABB-TV affiliated with the FOX Network in early
1995, their news team debuted later that same year. KABB is broadcasting
a digital signal on Channel 30. KABB-DT will co-exist with Channel 29 during
the transition from analog broadcasting until 2006. Fox 29 is currently
the Fox affiliate of San Antonio and is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting. |

In 1982, Malrite Communications, signed WFLX Fox 29 on the air in West Palm
Beach and it immediately became popular as South Florida's Movie Station!
In just a few short years, the station became known as one of the most successful
Independent stations in the nation. In 1985, a new era began as WFLX became
an affiliate of the Fox Television Network. In September 1998, WFLX Fox
29 was purchased by Raycom National. Fox 29 continues to grow with one of
the best program line-ups in South Florida. |

Atlantic); and two Delaware counties (New Castle and Kent). It employs approximately
200 full- and part-time people and has continued through the years to produce
quality local programming that has been recognized throughout the broadcast
industry and has made a significant impact on the communities it is licensed

KMSS began broadcasting on October 6, 1985 with 4570kW of power. Today,

Serving Orlando, Daytona Beach and all of Central Florida from one of the
nation’s highest broadcast towers, WOFL Fox 35 is a 2.75 million watt full
power station affiliated with the Fox Television Network. Their programming
is also available on digital channel 22. WOFL operates 24 hours a day, year
round. On the air since 1979, WOFL serves over 1.5 million central Florida
households from the nation’s 20th largest television market. Their programming
is also carried 24 hours a day by satellite via Direct TV & Echo Star’s
Dish Network. All major cable systems in Central Florida provide Fox 35

Oct. 26, 1968 KTXL-TV came on the air in Sacramento. They were one of the
first independent UHF stations in the country to launch a seven-day newscast
and have its own satellite downlink. KTXL has become a Fox network
affiliate. KTXL was known in its early days for airing first-run movies
and original programming. They also produced a few shows for syndication
in Northern California. |

WDRB is the exclusive Fox affiliate of the Louisville market. Greater Louisville-the
50th-largest television market in the United States-is located on the northern

The station, WVBT-TV, originally went on the air in March of 1993.
It had limited power, not a wide reach, and broadcast a home shopping network.
In January, 1995, LIN Television Corporation and WAVY-TV entered into a
Local Marketing Agreement with the owners of WVBT-TV. The station
was re-launched as the WB Network Affiliate in Hampton Roads. In May, 1996,
the combination of a powerful new transmitter (240 Kilowatt) and a higher
tower (1000 feet), enabled WVBT's over-the-air signal to reach every home
in Hampton Roads. |
