Upstate Carolina Angel Network (ACAN)

The Upstate Carolina Angel Network is a
group of accredited investors who invest
in and support start-up and early-stage,
high-growth businesses in the Southeastern
United States. The ACAN members have a broad
array of business experiences and skills
they bring in helping to screen and evaluate
potential portfolio companies. They also
serve as a valuable resource for guidance
and advice. |
Utah Angels
Offices: Salt Lake City, Utah
The Utah Angels are a group of fifteen private
investors backing Utah entrepreneurs. They
collaborate, but invest individually. Since
formation in May 1998, Utah Angels have
invested $16 million in thirty nine companies.
Previously, among them they made private
investments in hundreds of companies. They
are all knowledgeable active investors,
and former or current entrepreneurs themselves. |

Vantec Angels

Vantec Angels are accomplished Vancouver
area technology entrepreneurs who wish to
make early stage investments in, and sometimes
provide mentoring or advice to, new companies.
An ideal angel is someone who has been "at
the helm" running a technology enterprise
having realized some financial rewards as
a result of this and who is now in a position
to invest in, and advise, entrepreneurs. |
Vegas Valley Angels (VVA)
Offices: Las Vegas, Nevada
The Vegas Valley Angels is a group of accredited
investors dedicated to providing equity
capital to early and mid-stage entrepreneurial
companies. Members of VVA have extensive
experience in founding, building, managing
and/or financing companies in a wide variety
of industries. They mentor and coach the
entrepreneurs , serve on their boards, and
assist with team building, strategic planning
and fundraising. |
Venture Investment Forum
Offices: Middletown, Pennsylvania
The Venture Investment Forum is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurialism
in Pennsylvania. The Forum fulfills its
mission by assisting entrepreneurs in their
preparations to seek private equity, helping
angels to form and manage angel investment
networks, and providing training in various
aspects of interest to emerging growth companies.

Virginia Active Angels Network (VAAN)
Offices: Charlottesville, Virginia
Virginia Active Angel Network is a professionally
managed club of angel investors who gather
for ten dinner meetings from September through
July in Charlottesville and Blacksburg/Roanoke,
VA. Started in 2005 by a group of University
of Virginia alumni, and joined by New Vantage
Group, VAAN seeks to bring energy, expertise
and entrepreneurs together to create opportunities
to invest and network. |
