Nashville Capital Network (NCN)

The Nashville Capital Network is a collaborative
initiative of Vanderbilt University, the
Nashville Technology Council, Nashville
Health Care Council, local investors, as
well as, local business and professional
leaders. NCN strives to promote entrepreneurial
education and economic growth by becoming
the hub for early stage capital formation
in middle Tennessee. |
NCIC CapitalFund
Offices: Dayton, Ohio
NCIC CapitalFund is an early stage investment
company. They invest in emerging, growth-oriented,
technology-based companies. Since June of
1995, NCIC CapitalFund has made 59 rounds
of investments in 29 companies totaling
over $15 million. Their investments have
been leveraged with an additional $60 million
in co-investments. Their investments have
ranged from $200,000 to $1,000,000 with
an average of $500,000 per company. |
Nebraska Angels
Offices: Lincoln, Nebraska
Nebraska Angels is a non profit mutual benefit
corporation organized to exchange information
about investment opportunities in early-stage
and emerging growth companies with ties
to the state of Nebraska. Nebraska Angels
is not a fund and does not invest as a group.
Their members collaborate on due diligence
but make individual investment decisions
with the understanding that investments
in early-stage, privately-held ventures
are risky and involve the potential loss
of capital. |
NEW Capital Fund
Offices: Appleton, Wisconsin
The NEW Capital Fund has $10 million of
committed capital. They have 75 investors,
most of whom live and work in the New North.
The fund will focus on investing in 10 to
12 early-stage companies located in and
around the New North. Investment decisions
will be made by a five member investment
board and the day-to-day operations of the
fund will be managed by its general partner,
NEW Capital Management. |

New Mexico Private Investors (NMPI)
Offices: Albuquerque, New Mexico
New Mexico Private Investors' mission is
to provide opportunities where its members
can obtain outstanding financial returns
by investing in early-stage companies in
New Mexico and accelerating them to market
leadership. They work with the venture capital
community and angel groups in the Southwestern
area. Their members come from diverse business
and investment backgrounds. |
New Vantage Group (NVG)
Offices: Washington, DC
New Vantage Group manages early-stage venture
funds for active angel investors including
the Dinner Club, The eMedia Club, and The
Washington Dinner Club. NVG is also an advisor
to WomenAngels.net, Chesapeake Emerging
Opportunities Club and Blue Tree Allied
Angels. Sixty to eighty active angels have
invested in each of these Funds, which co-invest
with traditional venture capital funds. |
New World Angels (NWA)
Offices: Boca Raton, Florida
New World Angels is a group of private investors
dedicated to providing equity capital to
early and mid-stage entrepreneurial companies.
Their primary focus is on companies based
in South Florida. However, they are opportunistic
in considering investments in other locations.
Members of NWA have extensive experience
in founding, building, and managing companies
in a wide variety of industries. |
New York Angels
Offices: New York, New York
The mission of New York Angels is to provide
a forum in which its members can exchange
information about investment opportunities
in early-stage technology and emerging growth
companies in the Northeast and to provide
administrative support as its members help
such companies to grow to market leadership.
They provide early-stage capital in the
range of $250,000 - $750,000. |
