New Venture Partners has a team that has
worked together since 1997 when they founded
the New Ventures Group (NVG) at Lucent Technologies
where they built a portfolio of 35 companies,
co-investing with more than 30 leading venture
capital firms that provided $350 million
of additional equity capital to the ventures
they founded. In 2001, they formed New Venture
Partners as an independent firm to manage
the NVG portfolio. At the same time, they
acquired their portfolio from Lucent, raising
a new fund from a syndicate of investors.
