The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is
responsible for identifying, protecting
and transferring all technologies that are
developed at the University of Nevada and
the Desert Research Institute to private
sector companies for commercialization.
The TTO is also responsible for all material
transfer agreements and proprietary disclosure
agreements at these two institutions. |
University of North Carolina Office of Technology
Transfer

As part of its educational, research, and
service mission, UNCG is dedicated to the
transfer of its research and technology
to the public sector for the general economic
benefit of Greensboro, the Piedmont Triad
and North Carolina. The Mission of the Office
of Technology Transfer (OTT) is to support
UNCG's effort to encourage innovation and
disseminate knowledge. OTT serves the university
and the public by commercializing discoveries
developed by faculty, students and staff. |

The mission of the University of Oklahoma
Office of Technology Development (OTD) is
to stimulate the creation of intellectual
property and manage the resulting assets
in support of the mission of the University
of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma
has positioned itself to provide leadership
for Oklahoma in technology development and
transfer. As part of that effort, the Intellectual
Property Policy of the University of Oklahoma
was approved by the Board of Regents on
January 27, 2004. |
University of Pennsylvania Center for Technology

enterprise. CTT promotes Penn’s core academic

private equity investors to convert Penn’s

can provide assistance in obtaining a licensing
agreement or license your own patent. Cooperative
research and development agreement with

The Office of Technology Commercialization
(OTC) at UT Austin serves as a bridge between
the research community at the University
and commercialization partners, ensuring
smooth and fast transfer of intellectual
property created at the University. UT has
been a highly prolific research institution
for years. Remaining on the cutting edge
of technology requires careful assessment
and effective commercialization of available
IP. This is the primary impetus for the
OTC. |

From its modest beginning over 20 years
ago with one part-time employee and a half
a dozen technologies, UW TechTransfer has
matured into a vital resource for the University
of Washington and one of the top technology
transfer organizations in the country. Over
the past two decades they have seen remarkable
changes in how the University interacts
with industry and tremendous interest in
the creation and deployment of intellectual
property arising in the course of University

University of Wisconsin Office of Technology
Development & Transfer

The Office of Technology Development and
Transfer is a part of the University of
Wisconsin System Administration. In cooperation
with the WiSys Technology Foundation, "WiSys,"
a subsidiary of the Wisconsin Alumni Research
Foundation, faculty and staff at UW System
institutions other than UW-Madison, have
the option of patenting and licensing inventions
and technologies developed through their
